WILDCAT WAY:
A Place of Learning, Connection, Creativity, and Play

César Chávez is excited to be partnering with PGCPS, Nature Sacred, EnviroCollab, and the Hyattsville Community Development Corporation (HyCDC) to construct Wildcat Way, a community-designed outdoor classroom developed to support bilingual learning, creativity, and connection to nature.

WHY IS CONSTRUCTING AN OUTDOOR CLASSROOM IMPORTANT?

Alignment with the PGCPS Climate Change Action Plan
  • Priority Recommendation #1: Support Environmental Justice Through Climate Curriculum, Training, and Partnerships

  • Priority Recommendation #7: Commit to Climate Resilient Land Management
